At last, Miiki has made her way to the back end of the ship where the door is. She cringes as its hinges squeek, but no one comes to inspect the noise. Feeling lucky now, she steps outside onto the top of the ruins tower, closing the door behind her. Miiki had not realized that these ruins were of the tower variety. There is no island present, just a tall, stone cylindar which likely contains an elevator leading down to the actual ruins. At the sight of the ocean far, far below, she suddenly gets dizzy and drops to her knees. "I'll be all right," she tells herself, "once I'm inside I won't have to worry about falling, and once I take the elevator down I won't be so high up." Once she inches her way further from the edge a few feet she gains the courage to stand and run toward the entrance. Hoping no one on the ship saw her, she enters and begins to descend on the elevator. After what seems like ages, the elevator finally stops, resting on the floor of a large room full of pillars with strange designs. She immediately hears distant voices of the diggers so she hurries and takes up a hiding position behind one of the pillars, hoping not to be seen.
