Halcyon Days :: Miiki's Story
Miiki hurries back to the communications room, only to receive a scowl from the woman. "You certainly took your sweet time," she says in her usual condescending tone, "dawdling as always I assume. Just once it'd be nice if you got things done in a timely fashion."
Miiki ignores the comment and takes her seat, ready for the mission to begin.
Another woman soon enters the room and whispers something to the "wicked witch". Their attention turns to Miiki, who can only guess what may becoming at such an awkward and uncomfortable moment.
"No, not her," the nasty woman says to the other with a sneer, "She's unskilled and totally unreliable. Why no less than a minute ago I was telling her how important it is that she quits dawdling all the time. This mission is too important to let that airhead handle such a task."
