Halcyon Days :: Yohmi's Story
Just down a little from his house is a small garage where Yohmi keeps his boat docked. As he approaches it he sees that the doors have blown open during the night. Thinking it strange he runs down to find his boat is gone.
"Damn, what a rotten night it was!" he curses. Yohmi runs back up to the highest point on his island with his binoculars, searching the large expanse of ocean in all directions with the hopes of finding his boat drifting somewhere out there.
Though his search comes up with nothing, he does find something interesting when he turns his eyes to the western sky. The once towering ruins which he had looked at so many times and explored on numerous occasions is now gone. More precisely, the top most 3/4 of the tower has somehow vanished, leaving only the small 1/4 remains rising above the sea.
Yohmi is immediately interested to go get a close look at it, but instantly it comes back to him that his boat is gone. His only mode of transportation is now a small rowboat...
