Halcyon Days :: Yohmi's Story
Suddenly Yohmi finds himself almost right up against the remains of the ruin. He turns hard to avoid it but the waves control the direction of the boat. All he can do is brace himself for the impact.
He hits hard, incredibly hard in fact. Yohmi is tossed hard against the wall as water immediately begins spraying in through a crack in the hull. Yohmi is brought to his senses after a minute when the waves carry him into the side of the ruins once again. He is stunned to see how quickly his little boat is filling with water. He has no choice but to abandon ship, though he knows his chances out on this rough sea are minimal.
Climbing up out of the hatch, Yohmi is grateful to find he is still close to the remnants of the ruin tower, as it may be his only chance for survival...
