Adventure Unfolding...

Yohmi starts to hurry back to his house, but then hesitates a moment as he tries to imagine what the consequences could be if lightning struck the disconnected rod. He decides he simply cannot worry about it right now as the storm ups its fury. Once again he rushes to the house, but on his way he slips on a slick rock and slides down a muddy slope, coming to a stop as his head hits his door frame, leaving him disorientated for a few minutes. His old dog who had been patiently waiting to be let into the house now licks his master's face, causing him to wake up and take note of his surroundings. Just in the short time he had been dazed the sky had blackened considerably. "Dang, thanks for waking me up boy," he says while rubbing behind its ears, "Now let's get inside." The dog hurries in the moment Yohmi opens the door but suddenly there is a great boom and the ground begins to shake. Yohmi falls to his knees and then looks up with a puzzled face. The sky above him has become alive with electricity. From what seems to be all 14 of his lightning rods there is a stream of lightning, each connected from the closest one to the next, creating a web of electricity over the island. As he stares in amazement at this baffling phenomenon, he realizes that the web of electricity does not stop there. There is also a long "strand" reaching all the way to the towering pillar of the ruins, far out in the ocean. The sight is unreal and the sound truly intense. Then quite suddenly Yohmi turns his attention to the #14 rod which seems to have fallen. The equipment which it had been disconnected from explodes in a massive shower of fire and metal scraps. Instantly the lightning over the island disappears. Another sound from the opposite direction brings his head back around for another eerie sight. The ruins tower glows brightly for a split second and then also explodes, expanding outward in a huge spherical cloud of rock and concrete which is sent flying in all directions and finally falls into the ocean with humongous splashes. Yohmi cannot even begin to take in what he has just seen, for in the final bright glow of the explosion he saw the shape of an air ship flying out of control among all the other chunks of the ruins. It was in fact the same air ship which he had seen visiting the same ruins earlier. Anyone who had been in the ruins was probably dead by now, but anyone on the air ship itself might still have a chance if the crash into the water was not too severe... What Happens Next? Hurry to the boat and race to the rescue... or Think the situation through without being too hasty...
