Adventure Unfolding...

On the small chance that his potential rescuer has not abandoned him, Yohmi shouts again as loud as he can. "Shut up, I hear you!" the voice makes an unpleasant but welcome return. "Where were you?" Yohmi asks. "I had to take a swim and find a buster to blow the door open with," she informs him, "Stand back." With enough shots Yohmi is free at last. He thanks the young blonde haired girl profusely as he climbs out. She looks soaked and absolutely wretched, as he imagines he must as well. In her hands she clutches a little device of some sort. "You said you're the only one on this ship?" he verifies. "I was until you showed up," she answers, "Now let's get out of here." When they hoist themselves up out of the air ship's windows the girl is very disappointed. "A little boat?! That's it?!" she says in disbelief, "How are we gonna get out of here in that? I thought you were part of a rescue team or something. Though, I guess a real rescue team member wouldn't have gotten himself trapped." Despite the fact that she just saved his life, it is difficult for him to not lose his patience, "It's just my little old boat, but at least it isn't sinking. Now move it!" She makes her way warily along the hull of the air ship until she reaches the point of jumping. "I'm not sure I can do this," she says as the ocean swells up beneath them. "You don't have much choice!" he yells back against the noise of the roaring sea as a huge wave hits them head on. Yohmi loses his footing and slides down the curved edge of the air ship's hull. He struggles in the water for a minute before his armor is caught in his boat's magnetic pull. He sticks to it like bug on a strip of fly paper. Meanwhile up top the girl has found the courage to jump across to the boat and stares with frightened eyes over the edge. "Are you all right?!" she shouts down to Yohmi. "I'm fine," he responds, though he clearly is not, "Get in the boat and turn off the magnetic pull before your air ship pulls us down with it!" Yohmi can tell she has managed to do it when the boat suddenly rises a few feet straight up out of the water. It lands with a great jolt and dangles by one hand on the rung of a side ladder. Exhausted, he hangs there a moment and watches as the last lights of the air ship go out and the entire thing sinks. With all his remaining strength he lifts himself one rung at a time and finally reaches the hatch. "I was afraid I wouldn't see you again after that," the girl is there to greet him and help pull him in. "It takes more than that to do me in," he smiles weakly and grabs the wheel. Not surprising, they seem to be quite lost at sea. Yohmi does his best to navigate, but it seems pretty impossible. Just keeping the boat afloat in the turbulent ocean is tough enough. When things finally calm down after awhile, Yohmi falls back in his seat. "Take over," he says as he drifts off to sleep. To Be Continued...
